Sarah Balukoff

Artist’s Bio:

When she was small, Sarah Balukoff received a little blue book filled with stories about Greek gods and goddesses. She used this book and its content as her stepping stone to formulate her own perception of mythological figures as ideal, organic forms. Her belief that these fantastic tales and mythological figures are intertwined with nature and earthly elements has influenced her photographic approach.
Miss Balukoff has lived in Frederick, Maryland for nine years and thinks it’s high time to start traveling. She will graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in photography from Hood College in May. Her goal as a photographer? Photograph the world.
