Biography

Jerusalem of Gold is a magnetic force in Ayelet Baruch’s life. In July she will travel back to Israel to voluntarily join the Israeli Military service. Ayelet was born in Israel and moved to the states as an infant. The call of her birthplace is so strong that Ayelet returns, year after year to spend more time in a land rich with culture and art. Drawing on her experiences, Ayelet integrates her love of Judaism/Israel and the creation of clay boxes with moving components as a function of every day objects and religious life.
