Jeff Tarleton
Bio
Jeff Tarleton, has always had two constants in life, art and sports. Although most people usually do not associate art and sports, it made sense for Jeff to bring his two worlds together. Tarleton’s current work reflects the two worlds of boxing and painting. Some of Jeff’s inspirations can be found in pieces by Richard Slone and Leroy Neiman.
Originally from Baltimore Jeff Tarleton graduated from Franklin High School in 2006, a current resident of Frederick Maryland, he is pursuing a Major in Art at Hood College. and is activley involved in athletics, ranging from lacrosse to boxing. While a student at Hood College in Frederick Maryland, he maintained both interests by majoring in fine arts and also participating on Hood College Men’s Lacrosse Team. Jeff had interests in many other sports, such as football, and hockey but the sport of boxing has been a constant.
“I see the commonalities between the things I love most, and enjoy blending the two together”. Jeff Tarleton’s art defines who he is, an athlete and an artist.
