Devin Gaither

Bio:
Devin Gaither is the daughter of a musician with "perfect pitch," and she has inherited qualities of the phenomenon which directly influence her artwork and illustrations through "color pitch and association". This means that like many synesthetic individuals, Devin has a color response for almost all senses including taste, smell, and sound. Devin Joann Gaither was born in Martinsburg, WV and spent most of her life in Hagerstown, MD. As a B.A. candidate for May 2010, Devin is hoping to attend the University of Southern Maine's Creative Writing M.F.A. program beginning this summer. Devin has been featured at both the Hood College Tatem Art Gallery and the Hagerstown Museum of Contemporary Art. Her pieces belong to over ten private collections.
